Please chose CAPA if you are going to London. They are one of the most amazing and comprehensive programs out there. I know students who had to find their own housing or set their own schedules but not with CAPA. Everything is included and the staff will help you with anything. I found the classroom experience rather unchallenging. However, this was a good thing because I was not completely swamped when it came to studying, giving me a better opportunity to explore the city I was staying in and to take advantage of the surrounding countries. I really believe I got more out of this program and experience than I could ever hope for. London is a city for any type. Any student looking for a big city to explore but not wanting a language barrier I recommend London! It has so much diversity and endless possibilities. Try everything because 3 months WILL FLY BY. Even when it doesn't feel like it, your only there for 102 days, so soak up every minute you have out of the U.S. Also, definitely travel as much as you can. I know money may be tight, but travel to anywhere you can. Seeing different cultures and interacting with them is extremely cool. view full review

This semester abroad actually helped me finally decide what I wanted to do after graduation. I also learned more about myself. Its true what they say about Europe changing a person. The faculty was very nice and the courses topics were very interesting, though the course work itself was only mildy interesting and consisted mostly of busy work that did not contribute to our abroad experience. The highlight of the academic experience is the internship option. Though the internship class that goes along with it is the most negative aspect. view full review

The academic side of this experience wasn't very hard at all. The professors were very aware that experiencing England is what people were truly there for, which meant the work load was very light. This is good for the person who wants to travel and get as much out of the country as possible. view full review

Your classes would meet for two 3 hour sessions a week, which was the perfect amount of time to learn what you needed to, with time to spare to soak up the London culture. Even though I'm glad I didn't have a lot of homework, tests, etc. (since I had an internship as well), I wish I was a bit more challenged academically. This made me wish I attended a non English speaking country, because at least then I would have left the program learning a new language. view full review
