The teaching methods were somewhat different than in American schools and the grading systems certainly were as well. It took some getting used to but once I had adjusted I enjoyed the change quite a bit. view full review

In this system, the individual responsibility is far greater than at Berea College. The students are expected to do so much more outside work to really learn the material. The professors give a long list of suggested readings and expect that you do read these books, but they are never tested on the contents. Since there are very few grades, the students are especially stre... view full review

GO! its incredible. Australearn organizes mostly everything for you and sets up the best week of your life when you first arrive. I mean scuba dive the great barrier reef, pet kangroos, feed aligators, and party like crazy without a care in the world. this is all very nice when you have no idea what to do in a new country. My study abroad experience was defiantly worthwhile! I do not regret any minute of it. Everything from the program that I choose to my housing, the places I traveled and the friends I made were amazing.
