Westminster's School of Communication and Creative Industries is considered one of the largest, best-equipped and most prestigious centers of learning in the United Kingdom for studies in art and design, photography, fashion, film, music, journalism, and media.

There are also courses in the biomedical and health sciences, psychology, visual culture and e-commerce. Emphasis is placed on group work and team projects, and the development of strong leadership and communication skills. Personally, I liked the British higher education system. There is less emphasis on daily work and more emphasis on a final essay, project, or test. Converting the grades that I received to a format that I could relate to was a little difficult, but manageable. The UK uni system is less structured, therefore leaving students responsible to conduct their own reading, research, etc. without being prompted by a syllabus or professor. The mandatory workload was thus very low. The grading system uses a different numerical scale where a 70=A+. Though different, it was not too difficult to understand.
