The classes I took met only once per week for lecture and once every other week for seminar. Almost every week, I had to meet with my assigned study group for each class to complete a group assignment. The classes at RHUL have much less contact time than those at PC. Most classes last through two semesters, with several assessed papers and an exam in May. However, because ... view full review

Without hesitation it was definitely worth it. I learned a lot about all the areas mentioned in the survey, but in particular about myself as a person. I met a lot of tremendous people and gained a bigger sense of confidence and self awareness. I cannot recommend studying abroad, in any country, enough. view full review

Yes it was definitely worthwhile. I will probably never again get the opportunity to travel all over Europe and visit a variety of countries in the same time period. I am much more aware of different cultures and customs. I also feel I am a seasoned traveler at this point and can navigate any train station or airport alone. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I became so much stronger, more confident, and independent. I met the most amazing people, and got to see the most amazing places. London is a great place to stay for traveling. I had the opportunity to visit any European country for a weekend getaway. Be aware that it is almost an hour travel from London. And that you will receive very little help or interaction from professors. If you come in the Spring you may not have much of a chance to meet British students unless you join a sports team or are housed with them. If you know these things going in, you will have a great time. view full review

The location of the school allowed me to get a feel for suburban English life, while allowing me to visit London on a regular basis (usually once or twice a week). I made much closer friendships than my friends who studied in the city.
