Pablo de Olavide University is a state institution founded in 1997. Its mission is to educate the men and women of tomorrow through a strong academic program, innovative research, and a highly educated faculty. Taking full advantage of its resources and structure, it offers meaningful solutions to the scientific, technical and cultural challenges society faces today. Located on a beautiful 345-acre campus about five miles from Seville, the University is easily accessible by public transportation (a 30-45 minute bus ride from Seville’s city center, though the new train line is faster!).

Studying abroad is something everyone should do at least once. I loved studying abroad and learning so much about different cultures of the world. I would definitely have studied abroad with API if I had to do it again but would have chosen a program of a smaller size as I believe my language would have improved even more if I wasn't around so many English speakers. view full review

I only wish I could do it all over again. I often dream about my time in Sevilla and the people I met there- many of whom I still keep in contact with and consider my best friends. To sum up how much I would love to go back, I'll tell you about a dream I had recently (although it is a full year after I studied abroad). My experience was amazing. I am so glad I chose Sevilla, UPO, and Rosa's residencia. I am a changed person from this experience. It has made me a better person, and I have learned so much. It has made me realize that I would like to travel more in the future and live in Spain if possible. view full review

Sevilla, Spain: Wouldn't trade the experience for ANY THING and would do it all over in a heartbeat.

I didn't feel like I actually learned a whole lot about the topic of my class compared to what I would learn at William and Mary, but that's because the teachers took into consideration the fact that we are also there to experience the culture and see the country. Therefore, it wasn't as intense as it would be at WM and I think that was a good way to go. view full review

Two of the four professors I had were truly amazing. The biochemistry professor is the best science professor I've ever had (comparing to Rice). But the international finance professor made it very easy for us, so easy that I feel like the class was a waste of time. view full review
