fun, interesting and eye opening

The workload itself was less then what I am used to at an american university. the grading system is on a 1 to 5 scale 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. The teaching methods were different as well but also different depending on the teacher as well. view full review

The academics at AIFS St. Petersburg were great. The workload wasn't overwhelming but enough to help you learn and the teaching methods were easy to understand yet intriguing. I didn't notice too much difference between the education system. In the program, I had smaller classes so I was able to form more meaningful relationships with professors. I would study abroad in Russia again, however I would choose a different program to have a different experience and not to repeat anything of last semester. Despite all the short comings of the program if you research and dig for answers you can mold your study abroad experience to fit your goals view full review

It was completely worthwhile. I was only there for 5 week but those 5 weeks impacted my life forever. I made memories and friendships that will last forever, as well as I learn how to be a global citizen. view full review
